A 40-minute plane ride from Nome, your hunt will start at Nomad Adventures' remote base camp.  The majority of moose hunting takes place from various spike camps throughout the Seward Peninsula. These spike camps increase the odds for success. All hunts are conducted in parties of two Argos. Therefore, all hunts are 2 hunters per guide with another driver or packer in the hunting party. 

September makes up Alaska’s rainy season. Hunters should be prepared for rain. Hunters should also be prepared for thick gnats and mosquitoes and should bring bug nets to cover their faces. The area is a true refuge. We try as hard as possible not to leave a footprint.

The hunter is responsible for purchasing their hunting license and moose tag, as well as lodging and meals while in Nome, AK. The hunter may take the backstraps and up to 100lbs from his/her moose. The rest of the meat will be donated to the local residents.

• For an additional cost hunters may add grizzly bear and caribou with an additional trophy fee upon harvest. 

• Hunters may add wolf and wolverine with an additional trophy fee upon harvest.
